The conference has been held by the Department of Criminal Law of the Usue since 2004. Over the years of its existence, the Kovalevsky Readings have acquired a truly colossal scale and have become an international platform for discussing topical issues facing the modern international legal community. Over the years, the conference has been attended by more than 750 speakers and more than 4,500 participants from 35 countries.

Manuscripts that have not previously been published in other publications, have a scientific novelty, correspond to the conference topic, and are of theoretical and practical significance are accepted for consideration. All works are blindly reviewed and checked in the anti-plagiarism system. The minimum originalityof the article in Englishis 80%.
