LAST EVENT
The 11th International Scientific Conference ICITE-2024, dedicated to World Science Day, has started in Shymkent. The event is held in a hybrid format — both online and offline. The conference brings together leading scientists from Kazakhstan and their foreign colleagues who discuss current scientific issues.
Young scientists from the university presented a unique and patented project. The main idea is to study the process of enriching domestic low-grade phosphate raw materials using organic acids to isolate phosphorus oxide.
ERKEBULAN RAIYMBEKOV, POSTDOCTORAL STUDY M. AUEZOVA
“For three years, we have been conducting research on the selective leaching of low-grade phospholites. The results of our work are presented at this exhibition. Scientific articles have been published in domestic and foreign journals, and there are also patents for inventions issued by the national patent office. These are the main results of our scientific research.”
During the conference, scientists from neighboring countries discussed topics of mutual interest. A Memorandum on the establishment of an academic hub on chemical technology was also signed between the Islam Karimov Tashkent State University and the Russian University of Chemical Technology.
GULNARA IKHTIYAROVA, PROFESSOR, I. KARIMOV TASHKENT STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (UZBEKISTAN)
“Today, scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan is actively developing, which is facilitated by the need for industry. Thanks to mutual cooperation, the chemical industry of the two countries is strengthening. I would like to thank the university for the invitation.”
The conference discussed current issues in such areas as science and education, medicine, biotechnology, chemical technology, construction, agro-industrial complex, food and textile industries, mechanics, ecology, renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies.
